Come May 19 & 20, expect fans of the bands Boyzone and Westlife to converge to Mumbai and Bengaluru to be part of the BoyzlifeTour, courtesy Percept Live, creators of SUNBURN Festival, Asia’s biggest music festival.

What exactly is Boyzlife, though? In case you haven’t figured that out, it’s a supergroup formed of two musicians from each band, which in the late 90s and early 00s ruled charts worldwide.

The two musicians in question are Brian McFadden of Westlife and Keith Duffy of Boyzone. They will be in India in May as part of the multi-genre ‘FLY’ Music Festival. If you remember, the first edition featured Ed Sheeran as a headlining act.

The Boyzlife Live concert will feature a mix of ‘greatest hits’ by Boyzone and Westlife. Of the two artists, McFadden has had a more successful career since disbanding from their respective bands.

So, what are the hits one can expect to hear. Anything from Swear It Again and My Love to I Have A Dream, All Or Nothing and Seasons In The Sun (Westlife) to No Matter What, I Love the Way You Love Me, Words and Love Me for a Reason.

The duo, since coming together in 2016, have had a successful run. They’ve issued a statement saying, “We are so excited to come to India and sing all of our hits from Boyzone and Westlife. It’s going to be a great night, and I hope to see all of our fans there. We both are super excited and looking forward to the India tour.’’

And what can fans expect while enjoying the duo’s performance at FLY? Says Manuj Agarwal, CEO, Percept Live, “Fans will get to enjoy a world class entertainment experience of all genres spanning the best artist line-ups, live percussionists, international dancers, state-of-the-art SFX, a curated F&B experience and a wide range of activities to keep them immersed and holistically entertained. The Boyzlife India Tour is our attempt to scale up in order to reach a different crowd without compromising on the experience and quality of the FLY Intellectual Property.”

Tickets for the Boyzlife India Tour are live and start at Rs 1000.
