Drake to come up with ‘God’s Plan’ Game Show?
By Oojal Kour Dhanjal - August 9, 2018
According to TMZ, Drake has filed for a trademark for the phrase ‘God’s Plan,’ the title of his hit album Scorpion’s single. They say that the documents filed by the rapper seek to use the phrase for new merchandise and a potential game show.
The trademark would reportedly also cover “downloadable music, music videos, audio recordings, marketing and promotion.”
Garnering 762 million views, the official music video for God’s Plan is one of the standout singles from the rapper’s latest album Scorpion. It is renowned for showcasing Drake’s efforts by giving away $1 million to strangers by handing out cash, paying students’ tuition, groceries, and whatnot. The trademark means he’s now ready to cash in for himself.
At present, there are no further details on the proposed game show or whether Drake would appear on it or have more of a behind-the-scenes role. However, we can hope to see the In My feelings singer do the ‘Keke, do you love me?’ step there, if it ever happens.>
