Have you watched 365 DNI yet? Well, if you have and have grooved to this Latin-English dance pop number when Laura gets ready for Massiono’s evening ball and wondered what it’s called and wanted to know all about it, look no further.
Called Toca Toca, it is a 2013 hit single by Romanian dance group Fly Project (Tudor Ionescu and Dan Denes) and it released on Roton Records. It is a bilingual dance number with similarities to Eurodance and house music. It was a huge hit in Romania, France, Belgium and Spain. The video was directed boy Alex Ceausu and was shot in Bucharest on the Rin Grand Hotel’s roof.

It is a trending song that features on the Polish erotic thriller 365 DNI‘s soundtrack and was considered the best fit for the film in the aforementioned sequence where it plays out.
From what we hear, the film’s producers approached the label and the management of the Romanian outfit to buy the synch rights.
The movie, in the news for its controversial sex scenes, is based on the first novel of a trilogy written by Blanka Lipinska. It follows Laura Biel (played by Anna-Maria Sieklucka, a woman from Warsaw stuck in a relationship in the rut, who falls for a dominant Sicilian, Massimo Torricelli (Michele Morrone). He imprisons her and gives her 365 days to fall in love with him. It is trending at #3 on Netflix in India.

The electronic duo are known “for an infectious blend of trance, EDM, house and Latin pop styles. Formed in 2005, it saw singer-producer Tudor join hands with instrumentalist-producer Dan Denes. Their eponymous full-length album featured their record-breaking single Raisa. Two years later, K-Tinne followed. After that, came hit after hit Brasil (2008), Mandala (2011), Back In My Life (2012) and Toca Toca (2013). Their last single released was called Mexico.>
