Dilbar Dilbar, which edges out competition from Daru Badnaam

India’s Most Googled song in 2018 is…

Surprisingly enough, in 2018, while Indians searched for Bollywood film Satyameva Jayate’s Dilbar Dilbar, they didn’t search as inquisitively for the beautiful lady that featured in it: Nora Fatehi.

The trending data examines Google searches that experienced a higher spike in traffic when compared to the same time period in 2017.

According to Google’s “Year in Search” India-wide, we asked: “What is Kiki Challenge?”. We searched for Priya Prakash Varrier the most (closely followed by Nick Jonas and Sapna Choudhary) and listened to/viewed Punjabi songs the most, followed by Bollywood songs and a lone international track (Despacito, duh!).

India’s most Googled song in 2018 is…
1) Dilbar Dilbar
2) Daru Badnaam
3) Tera Fitoor
4) Kya Baat Hai (Kya Baat Ay – Harrdy Sandhu)
5) Dekhte Dekhte
6) Dil Diyan Gallan
7) Long Lachi (Laung Laachi – Mannat Noor)
8) Buzz song (Buzz – Aastha Gill ft Badshah)
