Pakistan wants Priyanka Chopra OUT, find out why!

An online petition started in Pakistan seeks the removal of actor-singer Priyanka Chopra as the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and has tagged the UN and UNICEF on this as well.

Pakistan wants Priyanka Chopra OUT, find out why!

The petition has sought 5,000 signatures and has reached 4,279 signs so far (at the time of writing this).

Why was this petition raise, though? Says Ayesha K, who started the petition on the page, “War between two nuclear powers can only lead to destruction & death. As goodwill ambassador of UNICEF, Priyanka Chopra was supposed to stay neutral & peaceful but her tweet in favour of Indian arm forces after they invaded Pakistan airspace shows otherwise. She doesn’t deserve this title anymore.”

This is with reference to PC’s tweet: “Jai Hindi #IndianArmedForces” after the Indian Air Force conducted multiple air strikes in Pakistan’s Balakot. The petition argues that the actor ‘cheered for war’, despite being the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador since December 2016.
