Parineeti Chopra puts out female version of Teri Mitti

Parineeti Chopra, has recently recorded the female version of Teri Mitti, the song from Kesari three weeks after the film’s release.

The Akshay Kumar starrer was a period drama which revolved around the battle of Saragarhi and saw Pari in a small role playing Akshay’s wife. She recently recorded a female version of the song Teri Mitti originally sung by B Praak and released the promotional video of the song today.

The composer of the song, Arko Pravo Mukherjee confirmed the news. He said, “Teri Mitti is a martyr’s tribute to his motherland. Parineeti was quite keen on doing this version of the song” he added

Pari’s version of the track has definitely bought the nineties trend where the tracks were added into the movies later, but do movies have such long shelf lives anymore?

We’ll find out soon!
