Salman Khan needs to retire from singing

You know that uncle who has a decent voice but who everyone loves and looks up to? 

Well that uncle has gone and sung a song called Main Taare, that’s inherently beautiful because of its mellifluous lyrics (take a bow, Manoj Muntashir) and a score (this is a fab song, Vishal Mishra) that transports you to a different place.

Yes, the uncle sells tickets and can still kick ass and occasionally create popular dance moves for the dance-challenged. 

He isn’t THAT old. But his laboured effort in singing is showing. That nasal drawl you hear, gives one of this country’s biggest superstars/godfathers a good indication of where his singing career lies.

Whoever told him he NEEDED to do this, needs to take a step back and listen to this song in someone else’s voice and you’ll know why we’re saying this.
