Nikhita is the sort of versatile talent that doesn’t come along too often. Language isn’t a barrier for her and she’s got Tamil, Bengali, Hindi, Farsi and English numbers under her belt. She’s got a flourishing career in Bollywood as a playback singer, but did you know she’s also a practising dentist?

Ananya Birla

These female musicians can do it all!

She has a famous last name, but she’s more than just that. The young woman has put out a fair share of international singles over the past couple of years and is an instrumentalist and DJ, but she is also an entrepreneur and philanthropist. She has founded Svatantra Microfin, a company that provides micro finance to women in rural India. She has also founded projects such as Curo Carte and MPower that work towards the betterment of women in India .

Anushka Manchanda

Before her playback career began in Bollywood, Anushka Manchanda was best known for being part of India’s first manufactured girl band called VIVA. Not content with singing for actors, she got in front of the camera with a convincing act in Angry Indian Goddesses not too long ago and received critical acclaim for the same. Apart from acting and singing, Anushka is also a visual artist, editor, music programmer and creative producer under her brand, NUKA.

Paloma Monnappa

We just had to include Paloma Monnappa in this list. How couldn’t we? The Mumbai-based DJ is also a model, actor, surfer and television host. It’s like, I love all my hobbies, so let’s make career choices of all of them? What do you think?

The Shaa’ir + func singer has at different points in her career, been a spoken word performer, an active dancer, as well as an actor, presented three seasons of the Cannes-nominated TV Series “The Dewarists” and even mentored contestants as a judge on India’s first ever singing talent hunt show The Stage. She currently moonlights as a DJ and a clothing designer.
